  • Hearst Magazines has announced a couple of marketing staff changes: former executive director of marketing and audience development Chris Wilkes has been promoted to vice president and former Condé Nast Media Group Interactive creative services director Cameron Connors has been named director of marketing services for Hearst digital magazines group.
  • Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. has promoted Zvia Herrmann to vice president and associate publisher of marketing for the company's automotive group. Previously, Herrmann served as the group's vice president of marketing.
  • Garden & Gun has announced three additions to its marketing department: former House & Garden associate publisher of marketing Jessica Hunhausen has been named marketing director; Muriel Foster Schelke has been named creative services director; and Billie Rampley, a former marketing manager at Pink, was named marketing manager.
  • Robin Shallow, who served as vice president of brand communications at Rodale, has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate communications. Shallow replaces Mia Carbonell, who resigned.
  • Incisive Media has promoted Matthew McGowan to vice president and publisher of its digital marketing businesses. Previously, McGowan served as global vice president of marketing for the group.
  • In the wake of Time Inc.'s dramatic restructuring, the company has announced numerous staffing changes, including naming Leslie Picard president of corporate sales and marketing.
  • Meredith Corp. has announced a pair of promotions: Elise Contarsy has been named vice president of brand licensing and David Johnson was named vice president of corporate development.
  • Alain P. Begun has been appointed to the newly-created position of associate publisher of marketing for The Week. Previously, Begun served as associate publisher of marketing and brand development of Better Homes & Gardens.
  • New Jersey-based regional publisher Wainscot Media has named Joel J. Ehrlich to the newly-created position of executive vice president, overseeing sales and marketing operations. A former publisher of Modern Bride and American Baby, Ehrlich recently served as president and COO of educational content company Young Minds Inspired.
  • American Media Inc. has named Bobbie Halfin vice president and director of interactive operations, overseeing sales, marketing, audience development and day-to-day operations at the company’s health and fitness Web sites. Previously, Halfin served as senior vice president of strategy and product development the Revolution Health Group.
  • The Reader’s Digest Association has promoted Dawn Zier to president of global consumer marketing. Since 2005, Zier served as president of North American consumer marketing.
  • Newsweek has appointed Pamela Raley to the newly-created position of chief revenue officer. Most recently, Raley served as vice president of advertising sales and marketing at Hearst Digital Media.
  • Ebony and Jet publisher Johnson Publishing has named Anne Sempowski Ward president and COO. Most recently, Ward served as president and COO of Fashion Fair Cosmetics. Before that, she served as assistant vice president of African-American marketing for Coca-Cola.
  • Printer R.R. Donnelley has appointed Sean W. Greene senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development. Most recently, Greene served as vice president and general manager of Dex Search Marketing.
  • Merger and acquisition advisory firm Whitestone Communications has named Richard Casabonne senior advisor. Previously, Casabonne served as principal and senior consultant at consulting firm MarketingWorks.
  • In addition to recently naming Tracey Altman as publisher, the Reader’s Digest Association has announced a pair of other staffing changes: Eva Kant was named marketing director for Taste of Home and Maureen O’Connell was promoted to managing director of integrated sales and marketing of RDA’s food and entertaining group.
